Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a part-time Floor Technician for TAMU Dallas. The role involves floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment in a school environment. Location is TAMU HSC Dallas Jn, Dallas, TX, with an evening schedule and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Floor Technician or in a related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
