Compass Group in Austin, TX is hiring immediately for full-time Floor Technician positions with a schedule of 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, Sunday through Thursday. The role focuses on floor maintenance and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Qualifications include prior floor care experience, knowledge of equipment and safety procedures, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Pay ranges from $18.50 to $19.60 per hour with full-time benefits upon hire.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
