Job summary

Marsden Services is accepting applicants for a full-time Specialty Services position in Appleton, WI. The role runs Monday through Friday, 4/4:30 pm to 1:00 am, at $18.00 per hour, on-site at 3011 East Capitol Drive.

You will perform cleaning and floor-care duties in commercial spaces and follow all safety and labeling instructions. Candidates must be 18+, pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.
• Valid driver’s license and pass driving background check.
• Must be able to follow and understand all manufacture labels and directions on chemicals/products used by Specialty Services Department.
• Construction Clean/Final Clean of newly constructed/remodeled structures to allow tenant occupancy.
• Heavy lifting is required with assistance from team members as needed.
• Must complete all paperwork related to job orders and work orders daily and report safety issues to lead or manager.

Responsibilities

• Strip and refinish hard surface floors using low speed swing machine and related equipment.
• Scrub and refinish hard surface floors with floor machines and supplies.
• Scrub concrete floors with autoscrubber and related equipment.
• Scrub ceramic, marble, terrazzo and other flooring with floor machines and supplies.
• Carpet extraction using carpet extractors and related equipment.
• Dry foam carpeting with a dry foam machine.
• CFR carpet and upholstered furniture cleaning with wet extraction equipment.
