Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass group company, is hiring a Floor Technician for the Lehigh Valley Health Network location in Bethlehem, PA. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

Candidates should have prior floor care experience and be able to operate floor care equipment; lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Benefit packages apply for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
