Job summary

Creative Management Technology, Inc. is seeking a Floor Technician to support the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH.

The role involves floor care using scrubbers, buffing, and carpet maintenance on a 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 10:00 pm), Monday to Friday with occasional overtime. Responsibilities include operating floor care equipment, performing preventative checks, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a federal background check.
• Submit and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle with insurance.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and move about the worksite.
• Ability to stand for long periods and follow written and verbal instructions.
• We participate in E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Operates floor care equipment such as automatic scrubbers, floor machines, and vacuums.
• Performs preventative maintenance checks on equipment.
• Buffs and burnishes hard surfaces; strips, waxes, and shampoos carpets.
• Moves furniture and heavy objects as needed; follows safety procedures.
• Performs other cleaning duties as assigned by management.
