Job summary

Chimes DC Brand is seeking a Floor Technician to perform daily cleaning and maintenance of all floor surfaces at the Library of Congress site in Washington, DC. This full-time role requires adherence to contract specifications and safety rules; shift is Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–12:00am, with a pay rate of $21.40 per hour.

You will sweep, mop, burnish, extract, and operate floor machines; assist with basic custodial duties and chemical handling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of floor finishes, applications, and removals.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of all floor surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, burnish, and extract floors; operate floor machines.
• Follow contract specifications and safety procedures; maintain equipment.
