Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Finishing Inspector in Shelton, CT. The role runs 4pm-2am with training on a 1st shift for 90 days (6am to 4pm). Pay is $19/hr on the first and second shifts, with a pay increase after training.

Responsibilities include setting up Rotocontrol equipment, loading materials, and inspecting labels for defects, while maintaining documentation and safety. The position requires basic English literacy, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Prior related experience preferred.
• Good mechanical, basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read and write English.
• Ability to read and interpret measurement tools and inspection devices.
• Visual acuity and color vision requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, overtime may be required.
• Team player with good attendance and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Rotocontrol (various) automated inspection and slitting equipment.
• Load labels, press rolls or other printed material into equipment.
• Monitor and adjust slitter and AVT system to remove defective material.
• Inspect labels and identify quality defects, replacing as required per customer specs.
• Complete all production documentation for each job.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
