Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair automated material handling equipment and ensure high equipment availability. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and restore equipment to service to support the supply chain facility.

You will work with other maintenance technicians, validate contractor work, follow safety procedures, and use CMMS for work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical/CC degree preferred in mechanical or electrical field.
• 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical field.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and MHE safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) on site.
• Read and understand basic electrical and electronic schematics.
• Assist in troubleshooting of basic Input/Output functions and PLCs.
• Use CMMS to create and close Work Orders with data and parts used.
