Job summary

Southern Indiana, Inc. is seeking an Evening Assistant Site Supervisor for Building One under the AbilityOne program in Indianapolis. You will supervise and coordinate a team handling cleaning, mailroom, inventory, and stocking duties, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

This working supervisor role includes training staff, addressing customer concerns, and stepping in for the Site Supervisor when needed. Hours are 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• No formal degree required; capability and leadership potential valued.
• Proven ability to supervise teams and coordinate multiple duties.
• Strong communication, coaching, and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards and quality control processes.
• Comfort with physical tasks and working evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develops work schedules and assigns tasks for janitorial, mailroom, and grocery duties.
• Trains new staff and monitors performance to ensure quality and safety.
• Addresses customer questions or complaints and escalates when needed.
• Oversees inventory, supplies, and equipment; enforces safety regulations.
• Supports Site Supervisor and substitutes as required during absences.
