Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to maintain hospital equipment, structures, and systems, ensuring a safe, functional environment for patients and staff. This role supports the Facilities Engineering team and contributes to reliable, high-quality care.

We expect hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry, along with a High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry or mechanical repair, or formal building repair training.
• Military utilities-related experience considered equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of hospital equipment, structures and systems.
• Conduct minor maintenance in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and/or painting.
• Perform utility and structural repairs as needed.
• Document and maintain records of inspection and work performed.
