Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas across client sites in the Phoenix area.

The position is Full Time with a 5pm–1am schedule, Monday through Friday, offering a $16.00 per hour pay rate and weekly pay. Responsibilities include floor care, restroom maintenance, trash disposal, window cleaning, carpet care, and following chemical safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• On-the-job training will be provided
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions effectively

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs
