Job summary

PrideStaff is seeking a detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our Facilities team at one of our clients in Plymouth, MI. You will maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment across our office areas, technical laboratories, conference rooms, and common spaces.

The role requires 1+ year experience, High School Diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and a 4 pm–12:30 am shift; offers a competitive hourly pay of $15.50 and comprehensive benefits for eligible full-time

Qualifications

1+ year of commercial janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and stretch for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
Strong attention to detail and pride in cleanliness.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain offices, laboratories, conference rooms, and common areas across the facility.
Sweep, mop, vacuum floors; restroom cleaning; restock supplies.
Polish floors, carpet spot cleaning, and periodic deep cleaning.
Monitor inventory and report low stock to Facilities Supervisor.
Follow OSHA/SDS guidelines for chemical handling and equipment operation.
