Job summary

The Town of Marana is seeking a Custodian to support the Public Works Department. This full-time role provides a direct impact on a safe and clean environment for staff and visitors at Town facilities.

Salary includes an expected hiring range with competitive benefits. Work location is the Marana Aquatics & Recreation Center, with on-site hours and on-call rotation. Prior cleaning experience and a valid AZ driver license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Over six months experience in professional cleaning or related field.
• Valid Arizona Driver License.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and a 25-pound lift test.
• Ability to pass Town of Marana background check and motor vehicle records check.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect Town facilities (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces).
• Utilize proper cleaning methods and equipment to maintain neatness of buildings and equipment.
• Stock and maintain janitorial supplies across facilities.
• Complete work request tickets and notify management of deficiencies or repairs.
• Trash disposal and daily pickup from designated areas.
