Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manual.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to present information effectively, to citizens, visitors or employees of the City.

Responsibilities

• Washes, sweeps, scrubs, mops, and cleans walls, floors, furniture, fixtures, windows, and other areas.
• Maintains building and grounds; replaces filters and performs basic maintenance.
• Inspects building systems and addresses ordinary troubles with minimal delay.
• Keeps supply levels adequate and responds to cleanliness concerns.
• Ensures compliance with department, City and government rules and procedures.
