Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside buildings or client sites. Part-time evening role with a starting wage of $16 per hour and weekly pay.

Training provided, and routine responsibilities cover cleaning floors, restrooms, common areas, and windows. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or 6 months janitorial experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 6+ months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage disposal; use compactors when needed.
• Clean windows, glass, mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with extractions/shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use floor scrubbers and heavy cleaning equipment.
• Perform other duties as required by the scope of work.
