Job summary

Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Melbourne is seeking a dedicated custodian to maintain a safe, clean, sanitary Viera campus from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. The role includes trash removal, bathroom upkeep, floor care, and event setup, with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

You will be part of the church staff, travel to other campuses as needed, and work in varied environmental conditions. Must consider Calvary Chapel your home church with regular attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in dusty, dirty, wet, hot and/or cold environmental conditions.
• Ability to perform the physical nature of the tasks listed.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Must be able to read and understand basic instruction manuals.
• Must be able to use basic Microsoft Office software.
• Results oriented, dependable team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash cans and dispose rubbish in dumpster.
• Replenish bathroom supplies and maintain restrooms.
• Clean windows, vents, light fixtures, walls and doors.
• Finish and strip floors; clean carpets with carpet cleaner and floors with scrubbers.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop and dust.
• Operate floor machines and burnisher as trained.
• Dust furniture and clean surfaces, sinks and wall items.
• Assist in setup/teardown of rooms for church events.
• Respond to custodial emergencies promptly.
• Travel to other campuses when required.
