Job summary

Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Melbourne - Viera campus is seeking a reliable custodian to maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary facility from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. This full-time, hourly position reports to the Facilities Director and supports day-to-day maintenance tasks.

You will perform cleaning duties, restock supplies, handle light repairs, and assist with event setup and teardown. The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and a willingness to work in various environments

Qualifications

• Able to work in dusty, dirty, wet, hot and/or cold environments.
• Ability to perform the physical nature of the tasks listed above.
• Must not have a fear of heights; job requires climbing.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects correctly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Must be able to read and understand basic instruction manuals.
• Must be able to use basic Microsoft Office software.
• Results oriented, adaptable to frequent changes and high quality work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash cans and remove rubbish to dumpster.
• Replenish bathroom supplies and maintain restrooms cleanliness.
• Clean windows, vents, fixtures, walls and doors.
• Finish and strip floors; use carpet cleaner and auto scrubbers.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop and dust surfaces.
• Work with floor machines and burnisher as needed.
• Dust furniture and clean counters and sinks.
• Assist in setup/teardown of rooms for events.
• Respond to custodial emergencies promptly and safely.
• Move equipment between campus buildings as required.
