Yancey Bros Co. seeks a Fabrication Supervisor to lead the Welding Team and oversee PDI and finished goods readiness. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely delivery with on-site supervision of staff and contractors.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years welding experience and 3+ years in leadership, plus a strong grasp of manufacturing metrics and continuous improvement in a production setting.

Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities are a plus - read, write, and speak Spanish.
• Leadership experience and ability to guide teams to meet goals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Advanced problem solving capabilities are needed.
• Deep understanding of the manufacturing business and metrics.
• Experience leading and developing teams in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of all team members at YES and off-site facilities.
• Maintain quality of outgoing product and report non-conformances.
• Supervise direct and contract team members and develop staff.
• Collaborate with quality, project management and production on disposition of product.
• Perform minor mechanical and electrical repairs and align parts to specs.
• Complete inspection checklists, document findings and actions.
• Conduct final quality checks before vehicle delivery and communicate issues.
