Job summary

CoxHealth South is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain clean, sanitary areas across the hospital and related facilities. You will travel between CoxHealth sites, clean and maintain duties, and support infection control standards.

The role requires flexibility to work after hours, stand and walk for long periods, and follow safety protocols. Prior experience is not required, and a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required in Environmental Services or similar roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred for this position.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and infection-control practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hospital areas to a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition.
• Travel between CoxHealth facilities to perform cleaning duties as needed.
• Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers, etc.
