Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a Housekeeper 3 to perform routine cleaning, linen tasks, and general maintenance in a hospital setting. The role operates on a 4:30pm-1:00am schedule with rotating weekends, under limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 2 years relevant cleaning/maintenance experience.
• Ability to operate and care for floor cleaning equipment.
• Follow aseptic techniques and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Performs linen duties as required.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment and performs floor care (stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, shampooing).
• Follows daily cleaning schedules and uses approved cleaning devices with proper PPE and infection control practices.
• Resolves routine questions; refers complex issues to higher levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
