Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid Arizona Adult Education teaching certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related discipline preferred.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches ESOL, ABE, and/or HSE courses using approved standards.
• Maintains instructional records and monitors attendance.
• Develops lesson plans and assesses student outcomes.
• Participates in scheduling, department, and college meetings.
• Collaborates with colleagues to improve teaching strategies.
