Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking an experienced Evening Emergency Department Nurse Manager to lead the ED, oversee operations and coordinate clinical activities to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualified candidates will have a BSN, Texas RN license, and 3–5 years of progressive nursing leadership in an ED setting, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of Emergency Department experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate clinical activities and supervise staff and department operations.
• Lead staff development, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
