Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, IN. The position is full-time with an evening shift (3p-3a), averaging 36 hours per week.

You will assess patients, implement and adjust care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a dynamic ED setting. Indiana RN license and ASN/BSN requirements apply.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Indiana RN license.
• BSN must be obtained within five years of employment or be prepared to obtain area specialty certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient needs, initiate and evaluate plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver quality care.
• Maintain documentation within established guidelines.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity and available resources.
• Remain compliant with department policies and mandatory education.
