Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Environmental Services Technician for the night shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM). Part-time, 24 hours per week.

You’ll clean patient rooms and common areas to keep spaces sanitary and orderly. You’ll operate floor care equipment, move furniture, follow infection control and safety procedures, and read cleaning chemical labels to ensure safe usage.

Qualifications

• English communication for staff, patients and visitors.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Willing to complete a competency assessment after training.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and common areas following procedures.
• Move furniture, equipment and supplies as needed for setups.
• Maintain safety and sanitation following infection control standards.
• Operate electric and battery-powered floor care equipment.
