University Health Truman Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Services Technician for the 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM shift. This part-time role focuses on keeping patient rooms and common areas clean, organized, and safe, following established procedures and safety standards.

You will move furniture as needed, operate floor care equipment, and participate in training with a competency assessment within 30–60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Speak and read English; communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Operate cleaning and floor care equipment safely and effectively.
• Complete competency assessment within 30–60 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Clean and service hospital areas per established procedures.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed to set up spaces.
• Maintain safety and sanitation following infection control standards.
• Operate electric and battery-powered floor care equipment to keep floors spotless.
• Read and understand cleaning chemical labels and use chemicals safely.
