Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an Environmental Services teammate at Zeeland Hospital to clean, disinfect, stock and maintain patient rooms and areas according to established procedures.

You will collaborate with team members, assist visitors and staff, and cover multiple sites as needed, working evening shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with a 37.5 hour week. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Public service and/or customer service experience in a hospital, environmental services, or janitorial setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect and stock patient rooms, offices and ancillary areas per procedures.
• Remove and dispose of linens and waste streams.
• Maintain hard floors, carpets and upholstery per procedures.
• Assemble, maintain and store equipment and supplies needed for tasks.
• Communicate and collaborate with the team to ensure continuity of services.
• Assist visitors and employees in navigating the hospital to reach their destination.
• May work across department sites for coverage and business needs.

Education
