Job summary

Loyola University Maryland, Main Campus, is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to join the Facilities team for an evening shift (4pm-12am). This full-time role supports the university’s custodial operations across buildings, offices, and classrooms, ensuring clean and safe environments.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with floor and carpet care equipment preferred.
Able to read and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Able to lift and transport supplies and work with cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

Operate floor and carpet care equipment to clean floors and carpets.
Perform custodial care of buildings, offices, and furniture including walls, windows, tiles, fixtures and floors.
Vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces; clean bathrooms and replenish supplies.
Maintain cleaning supplies and report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
Ensure safety practices and PPE usage at all times.
