Job summary

The position requires attention to detail, physical ability to handle cleaning tasks, and the capacity to follow instructions and work with cleaning chemicals under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience with floor machines for shampoo/extracting, stripping and refinishing is highly desirable.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Capability to perform special event setup using diagrams and sketches.
• Operate housekeeping tools and equipment or willingness to learn.
• Comfort with handling cleaning chemicals and solutions.
• Able to lift and transport supplies.
• Able to work effectively under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas with furnishings, walls, windows, tile, and floors.
• Sanitizes bathrooms and replenishes supplies.
• Cleans various flooring surfaces including stairs.
• Operates floor machines and standard cleaning equipment.
• Vacuum carpets and maintain cleanliness across areas.
• Collects and sorts trash and recyclables.
• Monitors and secures supplies and equipment after shifts.
• Performs event setup and supports athletic events.
