Job summary

Campbell County Health in Gillette, Wyoming, seeks an Environmental Services Associate to support hospital cleanliness under the supervision of the Environmental Services Manager or Supervisor. You will follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining patient areas and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include selecting cleaning materials, disinfecting patient rooms and common areas, preparing rooms for new admissions, and adhering to safety and infection control

Qualifications

• General cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to follow established procedures and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of infection control basics and sanitization practices.

Responsibilities

• Follows Hospital and department policies and procedures.
• Disinfects patient rooms, nursing stations, lobbies, restrooms and public areas.
• Maintains elevators, stairways, vents, light fixtures and floors.
• Reseholds discharged patient rooms for new admissions.
• Adheres to safety and infection control guidelines.
• Reports maintenance/repairs issues noted during course of housekeeping work.
• Remains confidential about patient information.
