RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Worker for the Environmental Services department at the New Brunswick facility. This full-time position operates on an evening shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• To be considered for this role, hospital housekeeping and floor care experience is preferred.
• Candidates should be comfortable performing physically active work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, while maintaining safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, operating rooms, and assigned hospital areas promptly.
• Perform trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and other environmental services duties per hospital policies.
• Understand and properly handle medical, hazardous, and pharmaceutical waste.
• Clean surgical equipment, invasive areas, isolation areas, and off-site campus areas as assigned.
• Maintain adequate stock of supplies and chemicals and work independently while meeting quality standards.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed and support Joint Commission compliance.
