Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Earth City, MO, is hiring for an Analyst I to prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard analytical techniques and EPA methods.

This full-time, second-shift position offers $18-$20 per hour DOE, plus benefits and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate has an Associate of Science in Chemistry (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of analytical lab experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work under supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Chemistry or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in an environmental lab is a plus.
• 1-2 years preparation or analytical experience preferred.
• Demonstrated effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analysis using EPA methods.
• Calculate and record data accurately.
• Report data and unusual test occurrences to supervisor.
• Maintain routine instrument function and housekeeping.
• Work in compliance with EHS and QA standards.
