Job summary

Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Health Worker - Housekeeping to maintain clean, safe environments for patients and staff. Evening shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with a $2.00/hour shift differential.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and clinic areas in accordance with Environmental Services procedures. Prior housekeeping experience and flexibility are valued.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience that would demonstrate the capability to perform the duties of the position.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and other assigned areas according to standard Environmental Services procedures.
• Provide a clean, safe, and friendly environment for patients, visitors, and associates by performing housekeeping tasks.
