Job summary

Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Health Worker - Housekeeping to maintain clean, safe environments for patients and staff. Evening shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with a $2.00/hour shift differential.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and clinic areas in accordance with Environmental Services procedures. Prior housekeeping experience and flexibility are valued.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience that would demonstrate the capability to perform the duties of the position.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provides a clean, safe and friendly environment for patients, visitors, and associates by providing housekeeping services. Responsible for cleaning tasks in patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :

• Any combination of education and experience that would demonstrate the capability to perform the duties of the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S) :

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
