Job summary

Data-Mail, Inc. is seeking an Envelope Machine Operator for the 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. shift in Newington, CT. The role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow SOPs for setup, operation and quality checks.

The successful candidate will assist with machine setup, perform quality checks, and help minimize downtime while keeping their work area clean and compliant with company rules.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools.
• Positive attitude and aptitude for learning.
• Ability to assist in minor machine repairs and PMs.
• Ability to apply written instructions to machine operation and quality.
• Reliability through attendance, punctuality and focus on station.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup on envelopes machines in a timely manner.
• Support adjuster during downtime to minimize downtime.
• Perform quality checks per SOP to ensure dimensions and quality.
• Hand-gather finished work and pack as needed.
• Keep area neat and comply with company rules.
