Success Education Colleges is seeking an Adjunct English Composition Instructor to teach ENG 163 and related courses. The role focuses on developing student writing, critical thinking, and research skills in alignment with outcomes.

Courses may be online or in accordance with policies, with classes scheduled evenings 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Part-time commitment ranges from 4 to 16 hours weekly across Mon, Tue, Wed or Thu as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English or related field from a regionally accredited institution, or a degree plus graduate credits in English.
• Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communication.
• Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach ENG 163 – English Composition and related general education courses.
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons, promote writing and critical thinking.
• Evaluate student writing and provide timely feedback within LMS.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and progress records per policy.
• Utilize LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, etc.) for delivery and grading.
