Job summary

Duke Radiology at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC seeks a diagnostic radiologist for evening ED imaging coverage. The role offers a stable, full-time schedule with no overnights, along with Duke compensation and comprehensive benefits within a collaborative clinical environment.

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible radiologists with NC licensure are encouraged to apply; fellowship in Emergency Radiology is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and licensure to practice in North Carolina.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR).
• Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.
• Fellowship in Emergency Radiology or related subspecialty preferred, not required.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Interpret emergent and urgent imaging from the Emergency Department (CT, radiography, ultrasound).
• Provide timely, accurate reports to support acute clinical decisions.
• Communicate critical findings directly with Emergency Medicine providers.
• Engage in quality assurance, peer review, and improvement activities.
