Qualifications

• Maryland license to practice pharmacy required.
• PGY1 Residency required.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS within 90 days of hire.
• BCPS/BCCCP certification current or within 1 year of hire.
• Three years of critical care/emergency medicine experience with current BPS certification in lieu of PGY1 residency.

Responsibilities

• Function as part of the Emergency Department team providing comprehensive pharmacy services.
• Interpret and evaluate physician orders to prepare and dispense medications; manage drug therapy.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and assist in departmental operations; support quality improvement.
