Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Rochester, NY facility. This on-site role operates Monday–Thursday with evening shifts and on-call weekends, and pays $25.00–$30.00+ per hour based on experience. The position is full-time and non-exempt.

Responsibilities include electro-mechanical and pneumatic repairs, facility maintenance, and supporting production and engineering teams. A strong maintenance background and safe work practices are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years trade experience with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Flexible packaging manufacturing experience a plus.
• Working knowledge in operation and maintenance of facility management services.

Responsibilities

• Repair electrical problems and installations on non-energized circuits.
• Diagnose and fix electro-mechanical and pneumatic devices; disassemble and reassemble as needed.
• Maintain facilities including snow plowing, yard maintenance, and light electrical/plumbing work.
• Set up and operate Level I and II production equipment; assist operators in troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering; train lower-level maintenance techs and support production departments.
• Operate lifts and equipment with valid licenses; follow health, safety, and environmental regulations.
