Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing
• BLS certification required at minimum
• ACLS/PALS may be required depending on department

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; follow physician orders
• Collaborate with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Provide education to patients and families; ensure safe discharge planning
• Document care and patient responses per hospital policy
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives and performance improvement activities
