Job summary

Bright Horizons at Tampa Palms in Tampa, FL is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the 1:00pm–7:00pm, Monday–Friday schedule. You will support age-appropriate activities, engage children, and help maintain a safe, clean classroom in accordance with Bright Horizons policies.

You will have opportunities to advance your career with on-site training, and can pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost through Bright Horizons. A high school diploma or GED and state background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 with high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in child care preferred.
• Background checks required by state and company.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet children's needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness by following procedures.
• Provide teaching coverage across centers as needed.
