Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking an Assistant Teacher at our Hunter's Green center in Tampa to support early childhood education and daily activities. You will assist with age-appropriate lessons, maintain safety, and communicate with families about their children's progress.

The role offers opportunities for CDA or college degree completion at no cost and a collaborative team environment. Hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must pass state and company background checks.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of child care experience preferred.
• CDA/AA/BA in early education preferred.
• Florida Care Provider Clearinghouse Background Screening.
• DCF 45 hours required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
