YWCA Charleston is seeking a compassionate Domestic Violence Advocate to support residents in a residential shelter and provide frontline crisis response. The role emphasizes safety planning, empowerment-based advocacy, trauma-informed care, and fostering a calm, respectful home where people can heal and learn life skills.

You will respond to crisis calls, model healthy boundaries, assist with daily living tasks such as cooking and cleaning, help settle disputes, and maintain confidential

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work holidays, inclement weather.
• Training in trauma-informed care or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilidades
