Job summary

HAVE Support, Inc. is seeking a dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Gaithersburg, MD.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–10:00 PM, involving hands-on support in home and community settings. You will assist with daily routines, personal care, household tasks, and meaningful community activities, while following individual plans and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a DSP or in caregiving preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, meals, and daily living needs.
• Support participants with daily household chores and maintain a safe home environment.
• Plan and participate in daily community outings and activities.
• Transport participants to community activities, appointments, and other outings.
• Follow individualized support plans and document services accurately.
