Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. in Gardner, MA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities through daily living support, transportation, and community participation.

Shifts include Tue 10pm–8am and Sat 11pm–9am; part-time, 20 hours weekly. Paid training and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time and $500 for part-time employees. Must have HS diploma or GED, 21+, valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
• Assist with household tasks, meals, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing and personal care to promote independence.
• Support clients to attend medical appointments and participate in community activities.
• Follow Behavioral Support Plans and Individual Support Plans as required.
