Job summary

Saia is seeking a part-time dock worker to sort and handle freight in and out of trailers and equipment. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload freight, following safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Warehouse or dock experience preferred (loading/unloading, handling freight).
• Forklift certification or hazmat training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with regulations.
• Secure freight and verify shipments; maintain straps and dunnage.
• Log shortages and damages and communicate issues to supervisor.
