Job summary

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, verifying freight documentation, securing cargo, and supporting customers. A high school diploma or equivalent and physical ability to lift heavy loads are preferred, with operational flexibility and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior warehousing or freight handling experience preferred.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight across dock area to/from trailers for loading to trailers.
• Operate motorized and manual equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hand truck).
• Verify documentation matches freight details and weight.
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight as needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers with freight and freight documentation.
