Great Western Dining Service Inc. is seeking a dishwasher for the 2-7 pm shift, Monday through Friday, at the KS Law Enforcement Training Center. The role involves maintaining clean dishes, assisting with dining area prep, and supporting kitchen operations in a fast-paced food service environment.

Qualifications

• Minimal work experience.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Excellent time management.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8 hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and flatware to ensure availability of clean dishes.
• Prepare dining areas and kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen (coffee makers, pots, pans, mixers, etc.).
• Unload and store deliveries.
• Sweep and mop floors, especially when items are broken or spilled.
• Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans.
• Support other staff by assisting with other tasks as needed.
