Job summary

Brookville Center for Children's Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the Baldwin Harbor location with Sunday and Monday 3pm–11pm shifts. The role supports residents in the Community Living Services program and helps maintain a high quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with self-care, health, safety, household chores and social activities while promoting the agency’s mission and providing compassionate care in a team setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must submit a valid NYS driver’s license, and maintain a qualified driver status throughout employment.
• Must have the ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information.

Responsibilities

• Practice and promote the agency’s mission statement and guiding principles in every interaction.
• Provide ongoing support to residents in the Community Living Services program.
• Assist with self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization and overall well‑being.
