Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Riverside, CA to support individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting health, safety and well-being. The role involves advocacy, daily routines, and participation in IPP/ISP goals.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least 1 year of professional or personal caregiving experience.
• Direct Support Professional Certificate Year 1 & Year 2 and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• First Aid / CPR preferred or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routines for clients' (visual and active) as written in IPP.
• Support the needs and goals of each resident by participating in IPP/ISP goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment for the clients.
• Assist clients with personal care and meals; accompany to visits and activities.
• Report incidents and communicate daily with administrators.
• Perform other duties assigned.
