Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring an Overnight Direct Care Staff member in Cedar Rapids for a full-time, onsite role. You will support individuals with daily living activities, meals, medication, and community participation, while building trusting relationships and mentoring in a recovery-oriented environment.

No experience required; paid training provided. Starting pay is $16.25 per hour with on-demand pay and a comprehensive benefits package.]

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
• Personal vehicle for on the job use with proof of insurance.
• A clean driving record.
• Personal Vehicle for on the job use with valid insurance.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful clearance of background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, from budgeting and nutrition to community activities and recreation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative every day in a role where your ideas and dedication are valued.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
• Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and enjoy their favorite events.
